We had our quarterly Activity on Friday. We had a missionary appreciation night. All of the kids got missionary badges, tried foods from all over the world, had a bike race (with tricycles and wiggle bikes), and wrote letters to our missionaries out in the field. Finally, the missionaries showed up for a "meeting" and were surprised with cake and a box full of food, supplies, and treats for them to take home. It was a fun evening.
what a clever activty. I know the missionaries were appreciative and will relish the goodies. You are so creative and talented. Bravo!!

ReplyDeleteYou did such a great job Julie!! I got quite teary when we all sang "Called to Serve" thinking of our sweet Mom and Dad out serving the Lord. Too bad you did not get a picture of me with my festive, fun group you SET ME UP WITH!!! Only for you!! Love you. Kristy
