Civics Field Trip
We had a great time in downtown DC - 9 boys + 12 hours = lots of fun!!

4. Statue honoring the women of the suffrage movement. They have not carved the back of it to save room for a modern day women's rights leader.

6. Kethan and Michael in front of a diner counter from Birmingham where civil rights activists sat in protest of the segregation laws. Awesome!

HALLOWEEN!!!!
We had a fun halloween - the kids did the neighborhood parade, Becky came out and I made some White Chili for us and Kristy, and the kids trick or treated. (some more than others!) It was a fun night.

Poor Jacob
Jacob (and consequently his mom) had a rough night last night. He had a high fever and did not get much sleep. I took him to the doctor where they concluded that he has the flu. They put this mask on him to move around the office. I thought he looked so pathetic. Not sure it was necessary - but I guess people are getting uptight these days.

COX FARM!!!
We had a very fun day at Cox Farm. It has been several years since we have gone and Carter was so sad that we did not go last year. It was a cold day and everyone bundled up (except Dave who did not check the weather!) We had a really fun time and loved the new additions like the corn maze!
